To blog or not to blog.... second time around

Yup, it's true. I've created this blog for the second time - wondering if it isn't just easier to blog than to have a website... too bad I don't have my previous blog - it was a bit longer, but had the same gist. Does it make sense to have a website AND to blog AND to send pictures to family abroad? Maybe blogging will take care of the website and the sending of pictures... I guess the difference is this stuff is out there for all to see if there's interest. I know all too well I enjoy reading blogs out there - be it folks I know or other blogs. It's interesting and fun - thanks to those of you out there blogging! :)
